Job summary

Prisma Health Urgent Care is hiring Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners committed to delivering exceptional patient care across our SC centers. You will work with center physicians to plan and deliver high-quality medical care for both adults and children, while maintaining patient satisfaction and accurate documentation.

The role offers a flexible 3-day/12-hour shift pattern for full-time staff, a competitive compensation package with bonus, CME allowance, paid time off, fully covered

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible and licensed to practice medicine in SC.
• Advanced degree from an accredited NP/PA program.
• Licensed NP/PA in South Carolina.
• Current DEA registration.
• DOT certification.
• Experience with suturing and drainage of abscesses.
• Experience reading diagnostic studies including X-rays and EKGs.
• BLS certification (provided if needed).
• Urgent Care, Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, evaluate, and implement high-quality medical care with resource management in coordination with center physicians.
• Deliver the highest standard of patient satisfaction through courteous, compassionate care.
• Provide patient care per policies, bylaws, and procedures; maintain accurate records.
• Serve as a resource for patients, families, and staff; ensure effective communication and documentation for reimbursement.
• Participate in meetings and activities to support urgent care operations; pursue ongoing professional development.
