Job summary

Prisma Health Urgent Care in Aiken, SC seeks a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our patient-focused team. The role emphasizes high-quality care, patient satisfaction, and collaboration with center physicians to deliver timely urgent care services.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in the state of practice
• Advanced degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
• Licensed Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant in SC
• Current DEA registration
• DOT certification
• Experience in Urgent Care, Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine preferred

Responsibilities

• Plan, evaluate, and implement high quality medical care with appropriate resource management for adults and children with center physicians
• Deliver the highest standard of patient satisfaction per Prisma Health Urgent Care policies
• Provide and document services, maintaining accurate records for reimbursement
• Complete necessary documentation and ensure communication to support patient care
• Participate in meetings/activities to support urgent care operations
• Maintain certifications (BLS, ACLS, ATLS, PALS, or NALS) and pursue additional specialty training as required
