Job summary

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible and licensed to practice in SC
• Advanced degree from an accredited NP/PA program
• Current DEA registration
• DOT certification
• Experience with suturing and drainage of abscesses
• Experience reading X-rays and EKGs
• BLS certification (provided if needed)
• Experience in Urgent Care, Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine preferred

Responsibilities

• Plan, evaluate, and implement high quality medical care with appropriate resource management
• Deliver the highest standard of patient satisfaction
• Provide care in line with Prisma Health Urgent Care policies
• Serve as a resource for patients, families, and staff
• Complete and maintain accurate documentation for reimbursement
• Participate in meetings to support Urgent Care operations
• Maintain required certifications (BLS, ACLS, ATLS, PALS, or NALS)
