Job summary

Prisma Health Urgent Care in North Augusta, SC seeks a board-certified or board-eligible Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to deliver urgent care with a patient-focused approach. The role includes on-site responsibilities, documentation, and collaboration with center physicians to provide high-quality care.

The successful candidate will have an active SC license, DEA registration, and DOT certification if applicable, with BLS/ACLS/PALS/NALS certifications as required.

Qualifications

• Board certified or board eligible in acute care NP or PA with eligibility to practice in SC.
• Advanced degree from an accredited NP/PA program.
• Current SC license and DEA registration.
• DOT certification is required or must be obtained.
• Experience in Urgent Care, Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, evaluate, and implement high quality medical care with appropriate resource management for patients.
• Deliver excellent patient satisfaction in alignment with Prisma Health Urgent Care standards.
• Document and maintain accurate patient records and ensure proper communication for reimbursement.
• Maintain required certifications (BLS, ACLS, ATLS, PALS or NALS) and pursue ongoing professional development.
• Report to Regional Medical Director and/or Area Clinical Operations Director.
