Job summary

TinkBird Healthcare Staffing is seeking an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a full-time permanent opportunity with a growing urgent care organization in Williamston, North Carolina. This position offers a flexible 3-day work week, strong compensation and benefits, and the opportunity to practice independently in a fast-paced urgent care setting with strong clinical support.

The role requires NC licensure as FNP-C or PA-C, current BLS/ACLS, and at least 1 year in

Qualifications

• Licensed FNP-C or PA-C in North Carolina or eligible for licensure.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Minimum of 1 year of urgent care, emergency medicine, or primary care experience preferred.
• DOT certification required within 6 weeks of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat acute and episodic conditions.
• Perform urgent care procedures including laceration repair, abscess drainage, splinting, wound care, DOT physicals.
• Order, interpret, and review in-house laboratory testing and imaging studies.
• Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans.
• Provide patient education and follow-up instructions.
• Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation.
• Collaborate with clinic staff to ensure efficient patient flow and quality outcomes.
