Job summary

TinkBird Healthcare Staffing seeks a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a full-time urgent care position in Whiteville, NC. The provider will work three 12-hour shifts weekly in a fast-paced outpatient setting with strong clinical support.

Requires NC-licensed FNP-C or PA-C, BLS/ACLS, and DOT within 6 weeks. Expect independent practice, collaborative team, and comprehensive benefits with competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills are required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• DOT certification required within 6 weeks of employment.
• Licensed FNP-C or PA-C in North Carolina or eligible for licensure.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat acute and episodic conditions.
• Perform urgent care procedures including laceration repair, abscess drainage, splinting, wound care, and DOT physicals.
• Order, interpret, and review in-house labs and imaging studies.
• Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation and patient education.
