Job summary

TinkBird Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a full-time urgent care role in Whiteville, North Carolina. The position offers a 3-day work week, strong compensation, and the ability to practice independently in a fast-paced urgent care setting with clinical support.

Responsibilities include assessing and treating acute conditions, performing urgent care procedures, ordering labs and imaging, and maintaining EMR documentation.

Qualifications

• Licensed FNP-C or PA-C in North Carolina or eligible for licensure.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Minimum of 1 year of urgent care, emergency medicine, or primary care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat acute and episodic conditions.
• Perform urgent care procedures including laceration repair, abscess drainage, splinting, wound care, DOT physicals.
