TinkBird Healthcare Staffing seeks a licensed Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a full-time permanent role in Williamston, NC, at a fast-paced outpatient urgent care. The position offers a flexible 3-day work week, strong compensation, and comprehensive benefits, with independence in practice and solid clinical support.

Responsibilities include treating acute conditions, performing urgent care procedures, ordering labs and imaging, and documenting in the Experity EMR.

Qualifications

• Licensed FNP-C or PA-C in North Carolina or eligible for licensure.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• DOT certification required within 6 weeks of employment.
• Minimum 1 year of urgent care, emergency medicine, or primary care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat acute and episodic conditions.
• Perform urgent care procedures including: laceration repair, abscess drainage, splinting, wound care, DOT physicals.
• Order, interpret, and review in-house lab tests and imaging studies.
• Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans.
• Provide patient education and follow-up instructions.
• Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation.
• Collaborate with clinic staff to ensure efficient patient flow and quality outcomes.
