Zusammenfassung

Akron Children's is seeking an Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) to provide primary and specialty nursing care in multiple urgent care settings. The APN collaborates with physicians, performs health assessments, orders tests, and develops treatment plans while maintaining credentialing and prescriptive authority per state policy.

This part-time role offers flexible scheduling, average 34 hours/week, with shifts across Montrose, Mansfield, and Warren locations.

Qualifikationen

Must have Master's or Doctoral degree in nursing or be pursuing certification.
Current RN license in Ohio and NP certification.
Eligible for prescriptive authority and credentialing requirements.

Aufgaben

Provides advanced nursing and medical care in collaboration with a physician.
Works across locations with flexible, part-time scheduling.
Performs health assessments, exams, and interprets tests as needed.
Develops and executes treatment plans in coordination with patients.
Participates in patient education and discharge planning as required.
Maintains professional standards and participates in teamwork rounds.
