Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Knowledge of basic computer software and the ability to learn electronic medical records.
• Prior experience in a medical office setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors, guide through registration process, and activate patient files.
• Answer multi-line phones, file, fax, scan documents, and perform daily patient callbacks.
• Check in and discharge patients; assist clinical staff and close the office at end of shift.
• Collect insurance information, verify demographics, process payments, and post balances.
