Sherwood Urgent Care in Batesville, AR seeks experienced Medical Assistants to join the team. The role involves clinical and administrative support, patient preparation, vital sign collection, and assisting providers to ensure high-quality care.

Full-time schedule includes rotating 36-40 hours per week with 12-hour weekday shifts and every-other weekend; PRN per diem availability as needed. AR X-ray license optional and CMA preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• BLS Certification required.
• Certified Medical Assistant preferred.
• Willingness to obtain AR Limited X-Ray License preferred.

Responsabilités

• Greet patients promptly in waiting, exam, laboratory or x-ray areas.
• Communicate wait times and guide patients through treatment steps.
• Provide solutions to patient problems and seek help for emergent situations.
• Perform follow-up calls with urgency.
• Assist front desk with patient check-in/out as needed.
• Document patient vitals, history, medications and allergies accurately.

Formation

High school diploma or equivalent

BLS Certification

Certified Medical Assistant (preferred)

Willingness to obtain AR Limited X-Ray License (preferred)
