Job summary

Washington Regional Urgent Care is seeking experienced Medical Assistants with clerical background to join our Mountain Home, AR team. You will provide clinical care in urgent care, occupational health, and workers’ compensation settings, including initial evaluations, vital signs, and patient preparation for provider evaluation, while also handling medical receptionist duties.

The role requires a high school diploma, 1+ year MA experience, MA certification or equivalent, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant.
• Medical Assistant Certificate or equivalent experience; willingness to get AR Limited X-Ray License is preferred.
• BLS Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and manage registration processes.
• Record vital signs, patient histories, and assist with procedures.
• Maintain neat and tidy patient areas and handle cash receipts.
