Washington Regional Urgent Care seeks experienced Medical Assistants with clerical experience to join our Mountain Home, AR team. The Medical Assistant / Receptionist provides clinical care and front desk duties in urgent care, occupational health, and workers' compensation settings.

The role includes initial evaluations, vitals, charting, and assisting with procedures under provider supervision. High school diploma and BLS are required; MA cert or equivalent is preferred and AR X-Ray license

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant.
• Medical Assistant Certificate or equivalent experience; willingness to get AR Limited X-Ray License preferred.
• BLS Certification required.

Responsabilités

• Greet patients in waiting area, exam room, and lab/x-ray room.
• Record histories, vital signs, weights, and current medications.
• Assist with procedures under provider supervision and document visits.
• Process payments, reconcile cash/credit, and handle daily office tasks.
• Maintain neat patient areas and ensure safety procedures are followed.
