Job summary

CareSpot in Florida is seeking a Medical Assistant to support providers with exams, procedures and patient care, including vitals, phlebotomy, injections, room setup, and patient transport.

Qualifications

• Graduation from MA/EMT/Paramedic or CMA/RMA designation, or 6 months MA experience.
• Plus prior healthcare setting experience preferred (ED/urgent care).
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Triaging patients, measuring vitals and recording on charts.
• Drawing blood, venipuncture and specimen collection.
• Administering medications and immunizations under supervision.
• Setting up procedures and preparing treatment rooms.
• Checking in/out patients and verifying insurance.
