Job summary

CareSpot Urgent Care is seeking a Medical Assistant to support providers with exams, procedures and patient care at our Florida locations. You will triage patients, measure vitals, collect specimens, draw blood, and help prepare exam rooms for visits.

Ideal candidates graduate from a Medical Assistant program or hold a CMA/RMA, EMT or CNA with phlebotomy experience, plus BLS certification, and can clear AHCA background checks. We offer competitive pay, PTO, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Medical Assistant, EMT, Paramedic, Radiologic Technologist, or related program; or active RMA/CMA designation; or 6 months MA experience; or licensed CNA with phlebotomy experience.
• Certification: BLS.
• Ability to pass Level II background screening and AHCA clearance.

Responsibilities

• Triaging patients, measuring vitals, and recording information on patients' charts.
• Blood draws, venipuncture, specimen collection, and completion of lab work.
• Administering medications and immunizations under provider direction.
• Setting up procedures and preparing treatment rooms for examinations.
• Checking in/out patients, verifying insurance, and collecting payments.
