Job summary

CareSpot Urgent Care in Florida is hiring a Medical Assistant to support providers with exams, procedures, and patient flow. You’ll triage patients, measure vitals, draw blood, collect specimens, and prepare treatment rooms for examinations, ensuring smooth, timely visits.

Qualifications include graduation from a Medical Assistant program or equivalent, or active CMA/RMA designation, or 6 months of relevant experience; BLS certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate from Medical Assistant, EMT, Paramedic, or other relevant program; or active CMA/RMA designation; OR 6 months of MA experience in a relevant environment; OR licensed CNA with phlebotomy experience.
• BLS certification is preferred.
• Ability to pass AHCA Level II background screening.

Responsibilities

• Triaging patients, measuring vitals, and recording information on patients’ charts
• Blood draws, venipuncture, specimen collection, and lab work completion
• Administering medications and immunizations under provider direction
• Setting up procedures as instructed by provider
• Preparing treatment rooms and moving patients from waiting room to exam rooms
• Checking in/out patients, verifying insurance, collecting payments
