Job summary

CareSpot Urgent Care in Florida is seeking a Medical Assistant to support providers with exams, procedures, and patient care. Responsibilities include triaging patients, taking vitals, drawing blood, collecting specimens, and preparing rooms for examinations.

Ideal candidates may hold a Medical Assistant, EMT, Paramedic, CMA, or RMA designation, or have 6 months of relevant experience; phlebotomy certification and experience are preferred. Competitive pay with incentives and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Graduation from Medical Assistant, EMT, Paramedic, or other relevant program; OR active RMA/CMA designation; OR 6 months of MA-related experience; OR licensed CNA with phlebotomy experience; OR 1 year phlebotomy-focused experience.

Responsibilities

• Triaging patients, measuring vitals, and recording information on patient charts.
• Blood draws, venipuncture, specimen collection, and lab work completion.
• Administering medications and immunizations under provider direction.
• Setting up procedures and preparing treatment rooms.
• Checking patients in/out and verifying insurance; collecting payments.
