Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program OR 2 years related work experience.
• 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant OR equivalent, including previous experience with an electronic health record and phlebotomy.

Responsibilities

• Register patients and collect payments.
• Room patients and assist the provider with care and treatment.
• Discharge and follow-up with patients.
• Assist with front and back office duties in outpatient management.
• Act as patient advocate and coordinate with families and staff.
