Qualifications

• Graduate of Medical Assistant Program preferred.
• 1+ year Medical Assistant experience under licensed supervisor preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Knowledge of medical terminology strongly preferred.

Responsabilités

• Conduct patient registration, securing paperwork and insurance documentation.
• Process co-pays and schedule patient appointments.
• Coordinate provider referrals to Specialists.
• Answer patient questions regarding care and status.
• Prepare patients for examination and record medical history.
• Perform preliminary physical tests and escalate to provider as needed.
• Conduct point of care testing (flu, strep, urinalysis, ECG, HCG).
• Maintain exam rooms, front desk, and reception area supplies.
• Maintain medical records and scan charts to patient files.
• Answer calls and handle daily correspondence.
• Perform opening/closing duties and cash handling.
• Follow daily QA/QC logs and equipment maintenance.
