Qualifications

• Graduate of MA program preferred.
• 1+ year MA experience under supervision within last 3 years preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Knowledge of medical terminology strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Register patients and verify insurance paperwork and eligibility.
• Process co-pays and schedule patient appointments.
• Coordinate provider referrals to assigned specialists.
• Answer patient questions regarding care and status.
• Prepare patients for examination and record medical history.
• Perform vital signs and point-of-care testing as needed.
• Stock supplies and maintain exam rooms and front desk.
