GoHealth Urgent Care in Missouri is seeking a Medical Assistant to support providers, Radiologic Technologist, and patients through patient care management, organization, and communication.

The Medical Assistant will complete activities accurately and timely while aligning with our mission to redefine value and access to quality care through an effortless experience, culture of care, and seamless integration with partners and communities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Medical Assistant Program preferred.
• 1+ years of Medical Assistant experience under a licensed healthcare supervisor within the last 3 years preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsabilités

• Register patients and verify insurance and eligibility.
• Process co-pays and schedule appointments.
• Coordinate referrals to Specialists.
• Prepare patients for examination and document medical history.
• Perform preliminary vital signs and assist providers.
• Maintain medical records and chart scanning.
• Open/close duties and cash handling.

Formation

Graduate of a Medical Assistant Program

High school diploma or equivalent

Knowledge of medical terminology

BLS (Basic Life Support)
