Novant Health-GoHealth Urgent Care is seeking a Medical Assistant Float to support providers in delivering high-quality urgent care services across our North Carolina locations. The role covers patient intake, clinical procedures, front desk operations, and ensuring a smooth patient flow for a safe and positive experience.

Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, 1 year MA experience, and BLS certification at hire.

Qualifikationen

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of a Medical Assisting Program preferred.
• Minimum 1 year Medical Assistant experience required.
• BLS certification required at time of hire.

Aufgaben

• Register patients and collect paperwork and insurance information.
• Process co-pays and schedule appointments.
• Coordinate referrals to specialists as directed.
• Prepare patients for examination and document medical history.
• Measure vital signs and perform point-of-care testing as needed.
• Draw and prepare blood specimens for lab analysis.
• Maintain medical records and ensure accurate documentation.
