Job summary

Washington Regional Urgent Care is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant with clerical duties to join our Mountain Home, AR team. The role involves clinical tasks such as initial evaluations, vitals, and assisting providers, alongside receptionist duties in a fast-paced urgent care setting.

Requirements include a Medical Assistant Certificate or equivalent, high school diploma, and at least 1 year as a Medical Assistant, with willingness to obtain an AR Limited X-Ray License preferred and BLS

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant.
• Medical Assistant Certificate or equivalent; willingness to obtain AR Limited X-Ray License preferred.
• BLS Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients promptly and guide them through registration.
• Record patient histories, vital signs, and medication lists.
• Assist with procedures under provider supervision.
• Process payments, verify demographics, and complete insurance documentation.
• Maintain neat patient areas and ensure accurate documentation.
• Answer phones and manage filing, scanning, and patient callbacks.
