Job summary

Carbon Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our fast-paced, paperless urgent care clinic in Marlboro Township, NJ. You will take vitals, help with patient intake, assist in procedures, and support front desk operations while delivering patient-centered care.

The role offers opportunities to perform routine lab tests, administer medications intradermal, intramuscular and subcutaneous, and pursue DOT certification where required.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must hold MA certification (except in locations with exemption).
• Current BLS certification; willingness to obtain DOT certification.
• 1+ year MA experience preferred.
• Phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Great communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Take vitals, patient history, and triage.
• Assist with incisions, drainage, lacerations, and wound care.
• Administer medications intradermal, intramuscular, and subcutaneous; perform ear lavages and EKGs.
• Conduct rapid tests including urinalysis, pregnancy, glucose, mono, rapid strep, influenza, and HIV.
• Manage front desk and receptionist duties.
• Complete DOT urine drug screens and breath alcohol test certification training.
