Job summary

NextCare Urgent Care is seeking a Medical Assistant to support fast-paced clinical operations. You will assist providers with exams, take vitals, and perform routine procedures in a team-focused environment.

Responsibilities include medication administration, venipuncture, specimen collection, and front-office support as needed. Proficiency in EMR/EHR and adherence to safety protocols are essential for delivering high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; completed MA training program preferred.
• National CMA/CCMA/RMA certification or OSHP compliance preferred.
• MA program accreditation required or equivalent experience accepted.

Responsibilities

• Assist provider with exams and patient vitals under supervision.
• Administer medications per policy and provider directions.
• Perform blood draws and urine collection for testing.
• Assist with splinting, casting and basic procedures.
• Support front office reception as needed.
• Maintain EMR/EHR documentation and clinical records.
