You will greet patients, perform vital signs, phlebotomy, injections, EKGs, and assist with procedures while maintaining accurate documentation and infection control across 12-hour shifts.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 1 year of experience as Medical Assistant or similar clinical support role.
• Current Medical Assistant Certification (CMA, RMA, CCMA, NCMA) and CPR/BLS certification are required.
• Demonstrated proficiency in blood draws (phlebotomy) and venipuncture.
• Demonstrated proficiency in administering injections per provider orders.
• Proven ability to perform and obtain quality EKGs with correct lead placement.
• Strong patient care, communication, and documentation skills with HIPAA awareness.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts (7:45 a.m.–8:00 p.m.) with rotating weekends.

Aufgaben

• Greet and room patients; document vital signs, histories, and chief complaints.
• Perform blood draws, injections, and EKGs per orders and protocols.
• Prepare exam rooms and maintain infection control standards.
• Assist providers during examinations and procedures.
• Manage medical records and accurate encounter documentation.
• Answer phones and route messages professionally.
• Coordinate patient flow with front desk to minimize wait times.
• Maintain clean, stocked, and safe clinical environment.
