Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent.
• Current Medical Assistant certification or registration or eligibility to obtain.
• Ability to obtain BAT and DOT certifications within required timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Room patients, take vital signs, document histories, assist with exams and procedures.
• Perform venipuncture and collect laboratory specimens per protocols.
• Support back office duties including medication administration and point-of-care testing.
• Handle front office duties: check-in/out, scheduling, insurance verification, co-pays.
• Provide urgent care support and prioritize patients by acuity.
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff for smooth operations.
