Baptist Health Urgent Care in Radcliff, KY is hiring a Medical Assistant to provide direct patient care and clinical support in an outpatient setting. Responsibilities include checking in patients, taking vitals, documenting history, and reconciling medications, while coordinating with providers and coordinating tests and procedures.

The role requires MA experience or completion of an accredited MA program, with BLS due within 90 days of hire.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED required with clinical MA experience or
• graduation from an accredited MA program including hands-on patient care.
• Certification as CMA or equivalent preferred; ongoing MA orientation.
• Basic life support (BLS) within 90 days of hire.

Mansioni

• Check in patients and obtain vital signs.
• Document patient history and reconcile medications.
• Navigate EPIC EMR and coordinate tests/procedures.
• Communicate with pharmacies, insurers, patients and physicians.
• Perform clinical duties such as EKGs, venipuncture and injections as trained.
