Job summary

Qualifications

• 1+ year of hands-on MA experience in a clinical setting including vitals and history taking.
• Graduate of accredited MA program with hands-on patient care included.
• Must complete MA orientation; clinical competency assessment if required.
• Proficiency with EMR systems (EPIC) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Check in patients and obtain vital signs; perform medication reconciliation.
• Document patient history and medications.
• Navigate EPIC and related documentation.
• Coordinate communication with pharmacies, insurers, patients and providers; uphold Baptist Health values.
