Baptist Health is seeking a Medical Assistant (MA) at BHMG Urgent Care Nicholasville. The role involves coordinating direct patient care activities, providing clinical support within clinical practices, and ensuring high-quality patient interactions.

Candidates should have a High School Diploma and at least one year of experience in a medical setting. Certification as a Medical Assistant is preferred. This position is eligible for a retention bonus for new hires meeting criteria.

Qualifications

• 1+ year(s) of experience as a Medical Assistant in a clinical setting, including direct patient care.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant training program with hands-on experience.
• Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association within 90 days of hire.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate direct patient care activities and provide clinical support to providers.
• Check in patients and obtain vital signs and medication reconciliation.
• Communicate with pharmacies, insurance companies, and uphold service excellence.
