Baptist Health is seeking a Medical Assistant for its BHMG Primary Care clinic in Richmond, KY. The role provides direct patient care and clinical support in a busy outpatient setting, including vitals, history, and medication reconciliation.

Responsibilities include managing the EPIC electronic health record, scheduling, prior authorizations, and coordinating tests and procedures; occasional EKGs, phlebotomy, injections may be required after competency. On-site presence is essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a formal Medical Assistant training program or equivalent direct patient care experience.
• Certification/licensure in nursing (LPN/RN) preferred or MA certification.
• Experience with EPIC EHR and clinical procedures preferred.

Responsabilités

• Obtain vital signs and document patient history.
• Reconcile medications and document updates in the chart.
• Coordinate patient flow and scheduling.
