Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Medical Assistant certification with 1 year of experience or 2 years MA experience.
• BLS certification by AHA or Red Cross required.
• Compassionate, patient-focused demeanor.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to maintain HIPAA confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Triage patients and assess urgency.
• Take vitals, obtain histories, phlebotomy, assist procedures.
• Document patient information in EHR per privacy rules.
