Job summary

Banner Urgent Care is hiring a Front Office Representative in Loveland, Colorado. You will be the first contact for patients, coordinating visits from check-in to check-out, handling scheduling, insurance verification, copays, and demographics.

The role requires strong multi-tasking, data entry, and phone skills; 30 wpm typing; prior medical office experience preferred. Working shifts include weekends with varied days.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to multi-task between high call volume, multiple computer systems and interruptions.
• Must type a minimum of 30 wpm and perform data entry.
• Six months experience in a medical office and/or hospital setting preferred.
• Bi-lingual in Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle incoming calls from internal and external lines and route to clinical staff; document messages and maintain complete medical records.
• Verify patient demographics and insurance; collect copays and selfs; assist with scheduling and referrals.
• Schedule and manage appointments, tests, surgeries; provide prep instructions when required.
• Prints schedules, superbills, labels and forms; file charts and transcription notes; support physicians as needed.
• Reconcile tickets with schedule, ensure codes and diagnoses are complete; forward to billing.
• Escort patients to exam rooms, take vitals and patient history; assist with treatment if needed.
• Perform daily duties with minimal supervision and resolve minor patient grievances; understand referral and authorization processes.
