Banner Health Loveland is seeking a Medical Assistant Registration Representative to support both front desk and clinical tasks. You will assist with patient check-in, insurance verification, and billing while coordinating appointments and referrals.

Qualificações

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent working knowledge.
• Graduate of an Accredited Medical Assisting Program and/or Certified Medical Assistant with experiential training in medical front office and insurance billing procedures.
• Active Medical Assistant Certification is required.
• Certification or additional training must meet the requirements for Meaningful use.
• BLS certification required.

Responsabilidades

• Perform registration processes, verify insurance coverage, and obtain authorization notifications.
• Enter charges and reconcile daily billing; balance cash drawer and prepare daily deposits.
• Schedule patients, procedures, and physician appointments; obtain pre-certifications and referrals.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain patient flow; communicate test results to patients.
• Assist clinicians with exams and office procedures; act as a chaperone if needed.
• Prepare patient for exams; record vitals and medical history; assist with minor procedures.
• Perform office-based testing and daily quality control; handle specimens for labs.
• Maintain clean exam rooms and storage areas; ensure compliance with regulations.
• Work under supervision but manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
