Job summary

Yale New Haven Health Urgent Care is seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner (Float) to provide care across Brookfield and Ridgefield centers. You will evaluate and treat patients of all ages in a fast-paced urgent care setting with strong clinical support and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

Licensed practitioner with an active State Medical License.
Controlled Substance Registration required.
Certification as an Advanced Practitioner.
PALS and ACLS certifications are required.
At least 1 year of full-time Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients across all age groups in a fast-paced urgent care setting.
Perform common urgent care procedures including laceration repair, incision and drainage, wound management, splinting, and foreign body removal.
Collaborate with physicians, advanced practitioners, nursing teams, and specialists to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

State Medical License

Controlled Substance Registration

Certification as an Advanced Practitioner

PALS and ACLS Certification

1 year of Urgent Care/Emergency Medicine experience
