Job summary

Yale New Haven Health Urgent Care is seeking a Physician Assistant (Float) to support Brookfield and Ridgefield centers. You will evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients across all ages in a fast-paced urgent care setting, with strong clinical support and a focus on collaboration with physicians and nursing staff.

Qualifications

State Medical License required and active.
Controlled Substance Registration required.
APC/Advanced Practitioner certification preferred.
PALS and ACLS certifications required.
Minimum 1 year of full-time urgent care or emergency medicine experience preferred.
Proven proficiency in routine urgent care procedures.

Responsibilities

Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients across all ages in a fast-paced urgent care setting.
Perform procedures such as laceration repair, incision and drainage, wound management, and foreign body removal.
Collaborate with physicians, nursing teams, and staff to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
