Yale New Haven Health Urgent Care is seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner to float across New Haven County, based in Hamden, CT. This full-time APRN role offers a supportive team, structured schedules, and strong earning potential with bonus opportunities.
You will evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients across all ages in a fast-paced urgent care setting, performing procedures such as laceration repair, incision and drainage, wound care, splinting, and foreign body removal.
Qualifications
- Active license to practice as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner.
- Controlled Substance Registration may be required.
- Certification as an Advanced Practitioner (APRN) is mandatory.
- PALS and ACLS certification are preferred.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients across all age groups in a fast-paced urgent care setting.
- Perform common urgent care procedures including laceration repair, incision and drainage, wound management, splinting, and foreign body removal.
- Collaborate with physicians, advanced practitioners, nursing teams, and specialists to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
