Job summary

MVHC is seeking a Float LPN/MA/MST to join the Urgent Care Team in Cambridge, Ohio. The role involves administering patient care under RN supervision, preparing exam rooms, assisting with procedures, and supporting urgent care operations across shifts.

Full-time with benefits, weekend coverage may apply. The candidate must hold an Ohio Practical Nurse program completion, a current LPN license, CPR certification, and strong communication and computer skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completed accredited Practical Nurse program.
• Current Ohio LPN license in good standing.
• Current CPR certification.
• Basic computer skills and good communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Administer skilled direct and indirect patient care under RN supervision.
• Maintain patient flow and prepare examination rooms.
• Prepare patients for diagnostics and assist with procedures.
• Administer medications within scope and document in EHR.
• Assist with consent, referrals, and prior authorizations.
• Adhere to infection control policies and safety protocols.
• Participate in quality improvement activities and records documentation.
• Support in patient education and health information processing.
