Job summary

UNC Health Blue Ridge is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) for Urgent Care on a PRN basis. Location is Burke and McDowell County.

The provider will work day shifts, delivering urgent care services across UNC Health Blue Ridge networks with opportunities for collaborative care and professional growth. Required to have graduate AP provider training, NC licensure or eligibility, and prior ED/urgent care experience.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited graduate-level Advanced Practice Provider program.
• Licensed as an Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) in North Carolina or eligible.
• Prior experience in ED and/or Urgent Care.

Responsibilities

• Provide urgent care services as an Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA).
• Demonstrate clinical competency and effective patient care in a fast-paced ED/urgent care setting.
• Document medical records accurately for billing and continuity of care.

Qualifications

Education/Licensure Requirements:

• Completion of an accredited graduate –level Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) program.
• Licensed as an Advanced Practice Provider (i.e., Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant) in the state of North Carolina or eligible.
• Prior experience in ED and or Urgent Care
