Job summary

Palm Careers is seeking an experienced PA or NP to float across its Urgent Care clinics in the Sandhills region of North Carolina. This part-time role supports 7 clinic locations within an hour of each other and operates 8 am–8 pm on weekdays. The job offers comprehensive benefits and a strong APP-physician partnership.

Candidates must have NCCPA or national NP certification, active NC licenses, and relevant certifications (DEA, BLS, DOT). Prior Urgent Care or ED experience is required.

Qualifications

• AMA-approved PA program with NCCPA certification.
• NP program with national certification.
• Unrestricted NC PA/NP license, NC DEA, AHA BLS, and DOT certification.
• 3+ years of Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine experience treating all ages.

Responsibilities

• Float across Urgent Care clinics.
• Coordinate ED transfers with physicians and APP team.
• Support a 20–29 hour per week schedule across 7 clinics.

A private, not-for-profit healthcare network in the Sandhills of North Carolina is seeking an experienced PA or NP to float across its Urgent Care clinics.

Details

• Part-time, 20-29 hrs/wk
• Day shift, 8 am-8 pm
• 7 clinic locations, all within 1 hour of each other
• Closed on 4 recognized holidays
• Epic EMR and on-site imaging and diagnostics
• Strong physician and APP partnership, with a well-coordinated process for ED transfers
• Part of a team of 400+ hospital-employed providers

Requirements

• AMA-approved PA program with NCCPA certification, or NP program with national certification
• 3+ years of Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine experience treating all ages
• Unrestricted NC PA/NP license, NC DEA, AHA BLS, and DOT certification
