UNC Health is seeking Per Diem Urgent Care NP (FNP) or PA for multiple NC locations. You’ll join an interdisciplinary team to treat episodic illnesses, minor injuries, and provide occupational health services in a fast-paced urgent care setting.

Requirements: accredited NP/PA program, NC licensure or eligibility, DOT certification, and EPIC-EMR familiarity. Shifts are 12 hours (8am–8pm), weekends/holidays required, per diem with competitive hourly pay and no benefits.

• Experience in acute/urgent care, primary care, or ER preferred.
• NC Licensure or ability to obtain licensure.

UNCHMG Urgent Care clinics, located in Raleigh, NC and surrounding counties, have Per Diem | Float Pool openings for Urgent Care Nurse Practitioners (FNP) OR Urgent Care Physician Assistants (PA) at multiple locations! Providers are part of an interdisciplinary team and responsible for treating episodic illnesses, minor injuries, and providing occupational health services and exams.

Financial Package

• Competitive, Per Diem, Shift-Based Hourly Pay Rate
• Not benefit eligible

Ideal Candidate

• Completion of accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
• Experience working in an acute care, primary care, urgent care, or emergency room setting preferred
• NC Licensure or ability to obtain
• Must see ages 4 and up
• Excellent interpersonal/communication skills, ability to establish rapport with patients & collaborate with team
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Required procedures: Suturing, splinting
• DOT Certification
• Knowledge of OSHA recordables preferred, but not required
• EPIC-EMR

Clinic Schedule

• 2, 12-hour shifts every 6 weeks required
• 8am to 8pm: Sunday - Saturday
• Plus, weekends & holidays
• Flexible, Per Diem | Float Pool Schedule
