Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Nationally certified and licensed EMT with at least 1 year of EMT experience.
• BLS certification by American Heart Association or Red Cross required; CPR/ACLS not accepted.
• Proactive, patient-centric with strong communication and teamwork skills.
• HIPAA-compliant handling of patient information; professional discretion.

Responsibilities

• Engage with patients, explain medications; provide guidance on care and follow-up.
• Triage and perform basic clinical tasks: vitals, histories, minor procedures; document in EHRs.
• Collaborate with clinicians to coordinate discharge planning and patient care.
