Bon Secours is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant for urgent care float duties at the WorkWell Health Center. The role supports direct and indirect patient care under provider supervision, handling vital signs, basic assessments, and medication administration.

The position requires MA education; active MA certification and SC-specific requirements apply. Travel to multiple urgent care centers within the market is expected as directed by leadership.

Formación

• High School/GED (required).
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant post-secondary education program (preferred in all states except South Carolina).
• In South Carolina, completion of one of the listed MA programs is required.
• Active MA certification: CMA, RMA, CCMA, NCMA or NRCMA (or ABR-OE if MA cert not possible).
• BLS/CPR required at hire for certain locations.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with patient vital signs and data collection.
• Document patient information and chief complaints.
• Administer medications as directed by provider.
• Prepare patients for examination and assist clinicians.
• Travel to urgent care centers within the market as needed.
• Document in EMR accurately and timely.
