Bon Secours is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant for the Urgent Care – Towne Center to support providers in delivering high-quality patient care. The role includes direct and indirect care, patient documentation, vital signs, and medication administration within licensure and scope.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, completion of an accredited MA program, and active MA certification.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• Completion of an accredited medical assistant post-secondary program preferred (varies by state).
• Active CMA/RMA/CCMA/NCMA/NRCMA certification required; ABR-OE acceptable in some states.

Responsabilités

• Document patient information and vital signs as directed by the provider.
• Identify significant changes in patient condition and report to the provider.
• Prepare examination rooms and assist providers for exams and procedures.
• Administer medications as directed within scope and state guidelines.
• Maintain routine office duties and clinic equipment; ensure accurate charting.
