Bon Secours is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant for the Urgent Care - Regency location. The CMA provides direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of a provider, including recording vital signs, documenting needs, and assisting with medications within scope.

The role requires active CMA certification, BLS, and typically 1 year of MA experience. Strong communication and multitasking in a fast-paced clinic are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Active CMA certification is required.

• Ability to document vital signs and patient data accurately.

Responsibilities

• Identifies changes in patient condition and reports to provider.
• Performs duties under provider guidance and abides by legal Medical Assistant responsibilities.
• Troubleshoots issues and escalates problems to provider or supervisor.
• Maintains standards of excellence in patient care and interactions with all customers.
• Prepares examination rooms and assists physicians during visits.
• Travels to other facilities as needed to support providers.
