Mercy Health is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant for the Urgent Care - Occupational Health unit at the St. Charles Medical Office Building. The role supports providers with patient care, documentation, and medications within MA scope and state guidelines.

Responsibilities include recording vitals, preparing patients, and assisting with procedures while ensuring compassionate, high-quality care. Travel to affiliated sites may be required, with opportunities for professional development.

Formación

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred.
• Active MA certification required (CMA, RMA, CCMA, NCMA, NRCMA or ABR-OE).
• 1 year MA experience preferred.
• BLS certification recommended/required for some locations.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with patient examinations and procedures.
• Take and document vital signs and medical history.
• Administer medications as directed by the physician.
• Prepare patient for the physician and assist during visits.
• Maintain patient records and schedule duties.
• Ensure infection control and sterile technique are followed.
