Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) for the Urgent Care location in Western Hills. This role provides indirect and direct patient care under the provider’s direction, including documenting chief complaints and vital signs, and administering medications within scope.

You will support physicians and the care team, prepare patients for exams, and ensure accurate charting while maintaining a compassionate, patient-centered approach in a high-volume setting.

Qualifications

• High School/GED is required.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant post‑secondary education program is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Gathers patient information and vital signs under provider supervision.
• Assists in planning and implementing patient care and administers medications as directed.
• Supports patients and families, prepares examination rooms, and documents care as required.
• Travels to other facilities or adjusts hours to meet patient care needs as directed.
