Job summary

Wilson Health is seeking a direct-hire Clinical Certified Medical Assistant for our Urgent Care in Minster, Ohio. The role involves assisting patients from lobby to exam room, taking vitals, updating medications and allergies, and supporting clinicians with exams and procedures.

Candidates should have a CMA/MA certification or be acquiring certification, with high school diploma required and Urgent Care experience preferred. Full-time position with benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Electronic Health Records (EHR) – EPIC, preferred.
• Certification as a Medical Assistant or Registered Medical Assistant acquiring certification.
• Urgent Care experience preferred or 2+ years of experience - preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients in the examination room in a compassionate manner.
• Record vital signs, chief complaints, medications and allergies accurately.
• Assist clinicians with examinations, blood draws, lab specimens, injections, ECGs and minor procedures.
• Educate patients and families about conditions and care plans per physician guidance.
• Order and track diagnostic tests and referrals in the practice management system.
• Communicate test results and care updates to patients professionally.
