Job summary

Q2H Staffing is seeking a Medical Assistant to support an urgent care center in California. This 13-week contract to perm role involves patient intake, medical records, EHR management, scheduling, and basic lab support. Some travel to sister clinics may be required.

Ideal candidates have CMA certification and BLS, 2–3+ years in urgent care, and strong communication and time management skills. High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Qualifications

• Must hold CMA certification and BLS CPR.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2–3+ years of Urgent Care clinic experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient intake and record vital signs accurately.
• Maintain and update medical records and EHR systems.
• Schedule and manage patient appointments efficiently.
• Process insurance information and verify coverage.
• Communicate with patients regarding care and procedures.
• Ensure sterilization of medical equipment and inspect supplies.
• Provide laboratory support including specimen collection and handling.
