Job summary

UNC Health Urgent Care Raleigh seeks experienced Physician Assistants or Nurse Practitioners to join a multi-location urgent care team in Wake County. You will treat patients aged 4 months and older in a fast-paced environment, with access to on-site X-ray and point-of-care testing.

The position is full-time with a shift-based schedule, supporting 8:00am–8:00pm operations across multiple sites. Competitive compensation and full benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Completion of accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program.
• Work experience in acute care, primary care, urgent care, or emergency room setting preferred.
• Must provide care to patients 4 months of age and older.
• NC Licensure or ability to obtain.
• Excellent interpersonal/communication skills, with ability to establish rapport with patients & collaborate effectively with team members.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Required procedures: Suturing, splinting.
• EPIC - EMR Clinic.

Responsibilities

• Treat episodic illnesses and minor injuries as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• Provide care in a shift-based, full-time Urgent Care setting across multiple Wake County locations.
• Utilize on-site X-Ray and point-of-care testing.
• Collaborate with RNs, CMAs, Rad Techs, MOAs, Physicians and APPs.
